Founder's Note

Himanshi Karol

Himanshi Karol’s relationship with movement began early, shaped by years of training in contemporary, jazz, and ballet. Yoga entered her life not as an alternative, but as a complement, revealing how disciplined movement could support not just physical strength, but mental steadiness and emotional resilience.

Her formal training includes 500 hours of Mysore-style Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga. She has done an in-depth study of human anatomy at the Indeayoga Institute, Mysore. Over time, her personal healing journey expanded into Reiki and Sound Healing, where she now works as a master-level practitioner.

Himanshi’s teaching is direct, grounded, and deeply informed by lived experience. She believes that progress comes from authenticity and consistency, not shortcuts,  and that the body responds honestly to the effort we invest.

At Aarambh, she brings together movement, stillness, and energetic practices to create a holistic environment where students learn how to take responsibility for their own well-being.

Our Philiosophy

We do not believe yoga is a cure-all. It is a sustained practice, one that requires time, repetition, rest, and commitment.
At Aarambh, discipline is not rigid. It is supportive.

Our approach is rooted in the understanding that healing is multidimensional, shaped by the nervous system, hormones, breath, habits, and environment. Every offering at Aarambh reflects this belief.
